Last updated: 13 July 2026

Standardise Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202630608Z) (“Standardise”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (the “PDPA”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, protect and retain the personal data you provide when you register your interest in the closed beta of our document-bundling platform (the “Beta”) or subscribe to our mailing list to receive product updates and marketing communications from Standardise (the “Mailing List”).

This Policy covers only the Beta sign-up and Mailing List subscription. If you are selected for the Beta, a separate Privacy Policy and Terms of Service will apply to the Beta, and we will bring these to your attention at that time.

1. Personal data we collect

1.1
In this Policy, “personal data” means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access, in accordance with the PDPA.
1.2
When you register for the Beta, we collect the following personal data from you:
  1. (a)your name;
  2. (b)your email address;
  3. (c)your firm or organisation name;
  4. (d)your position or job title; and
  5. (e)information about what you intend to use the platform for.
1.3
When you subscribe to the Mailing List, we collect only your email address.
1.4
We collect this personal data directly from you when you complete and submit the relevant form. We do not collect documents or client information from you during the beta sign-up or Mailing List subscription.

2. Purposes for which we use personal data

2.1
We may collect, use and disclose the personal data you provide for the following purposes:
  1. (a)to receive, assess and manage your application to join the Beta;
  2. (b)to contact you about the Beta, including to confirm your registration, provide onboarding information if you are selected, and request feedback;
  3. (c)to understand who is interested in the platform and how they intend to use it, so that we can prioritise features and improve the product;
  4. (d)where you have subscribed to the Mailing List, whether you subscribed separately or when registering for the Beta, to send you product updates and marketing communications about Standardise; and
  5. (e)to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
2.2
We rely on your consent, given when you submit the relevant form, and on the legitimate interests and business improvement bases permitted under the PDPA where applicable.
2.3
Any marketing communications are sent only where you have subscribed to the Mailing List, and we will comply with the Spam Control Act 2007 and any applicable Do-Not-Call obligations.

3. Disclosure of personal data

3.1
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose it to third-party service providers who process it on our behalf to help us run the Beta and the Mailing List (including but not limited to our cloud hosting services, form management services, email providers and developers) under confidentiality obligations, and to relevant authorities where required or permitted by law.

4. No use of your data to train AI

4.1
We do not use the personal data you provide to train, fine-tune or improve any artificial intelligence or machine-learning model, and we do not sell it to any third party.

5. Withdrawing consent

5.1
You may withdraw your consent to our collection, use or disclosure of your personal data at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer (clause 9), giving reasonable notice. You may unsubscribe from our Mailing List at any time using the unsubscribe link included in each marketing email we send.
5.2
Upon receiving your request, we will inform you of the likely consequences of withdrawal. Please note that withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer process your Beta application or include you in the Beta and Mailing List. Withdrawal does not affect our right to continue collecting, using or disclosing personal data where permitted or required by law.

6. Access to and correction of personal data

6.1
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you and information about how it has been used or disclosed, and you may request that we correct any error or omission, subject to the exceptions under the PDPA. Requests may be made to our Data Protection Officer (clause 9).

7. Protection of personal data

7.1
We make reasonable security arrangements to protect the personal data in our possession or control against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, modification or loss, including access controls and hosting in a secure cloud environment. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Where a data breach occurs that meets the notification threshold under the PDPA, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and affected individuals as required.

8. Retention and overseas transfer

8.1
We retain the personal data you provide for as long as necessary to run the Beta and manage your application, or to operate the Mailing List. If your application is unsuccessful or the Beta ends, we will delete or anonymise your data within 12 months, unless you have subscribed to the Mailing List (in which case we retain your contact details until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent) or the law requires us to retain it longer. If you are selected for the Beta, your data will be retained under a separate Privacy Policy that applies to the Beta.
8.2
Some of our service providers may store or process personal data outside Singapore. Where we transfer personal data overseas, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the PDPA.

9. Contact and Data Protection Officer

9.1
If you have any questions, requests or complaints about this Policy or about how we handle your personal data, or wish to withdraw consent or make an access or correction request, please contact our Data Protection Officer:

10. Changes to this Policy

10.1
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date, and, for material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued participation in the Beta or continued subscription to the Mailing List after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
